The Taylor County Photography Club meets monthly every third Thursday at 7:00pm in the Grafton City Councel Chambers, 1 West Main Street in Grafton. The monthly meetings have a program on some aspect of photography (workshops, slide shows, demonstrations, invited speakers, club photo contests, etc.). Conventional and digital photography subjects are included. The club is associated with the Photographic Society of America (PSA).
The primary purpose of the club is for the enjoyment of photography and to encourage members to improve their skills through club training sessions and fellowship with other members.
The club sponsors two nationally judged contests each year: one during the May observance of Memorial Day in Grafton: and the other in the fall at Gallery 62 West. Other club activities include informational meetings and field trips throughout the year. Photographers of all levels, from beginners to advanced, are welcomed. Annual club dues are $15.00 for an individual or for a family living at the same address.
Guests are always welcome to attend club meetings and outings. Currently there are over sixty members from Taylor, Harrison, Marion and Monongalia Counties. For further information about the club contact Harry White, Club Secretary (304) 265-5405 or by e-mail: hsw123@comcast.net
